Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, a mild preservative that inhibits the growth of bacteria. It is the standard solvent used to reconstitute lyophilised (freeze-dried) research peptides.
Used for: dissolving powdered research peptides into a stable liquid form. The benzyl alcohol allows a reconstituted vial to be used across multiple withdrawals over a period of time without bacterial contamination, unlike single-use sterile water.
Presentation: available in 3ml and 10ml vials.
For research purposes only. Not for human or animal consumption. Not a medicinal product.
